Guardian angels communicate in a myriad of ways. One way that guardian angels communicate is through dreams.
They may appear in white colored clothing. One of the most poignant dreams I had that involved my guardian angels began with four individuals dressed in white, lined up a little further away than the end of my bed. Their heads, and hence, faces, were obscured from slightly above the chin and up, almost as if I had blinders of some sort that wouldn’t let my vision extend beyond that point. This obscurance may happen in some or all of the instances in which your guardian angels communicate with you through dreams as well.
They may appear as an archetype that you associate with/might associate with angels or as being an angel. For example, what I perceive to be my guardian angels will at times appear as three of the main characters from the 1994-2003 TV show Touched By An Angel, as Monica, Tess, and Andrew. I watched this show for a number of years and then bought the episodes that were available on DVD when the show ended. I loved and still love this show. This is how I first remember consciously communicating with my guardian angels in my dreams, once I got past trying to explain it away as my unconscious mind bringing up tidbits from episodes I had watched in the past. Trouble is, I hadn’t watched any episodes from the show in a very long time and was very absorbed in my graduate studies at the time, which didn’t leave time to even think about the show in any way, never mind watch any episodes. Dreams with all three of them together are rare, and often involve one or two, usually the two females.
They might also appear as someone who you associate with or view as being kind, generous, helpful, exhibiting these and other positive qualities, yet have never met. For example, I dreamed of one of the characters from the Twilight series, one of the Cullen siblings who exhibits the aforementioned positive qualities. I remember being in the backseat of a car, emotionally distraught and drained, and her looking at me from the front passenger seat with a simultaneous expression and silent (possibly telepathic?) communication of support, compassion, sympathy, and a touch of concern. Earlier that day, I had found out one of my parents was in the hospital after having a heart attack; I was about 2,000 miles away at school. Due to the inability to reach my other parent for any new information, and being denied any information by the hospital on the severity of my parent’s condition, as I went to sleep that night I was distraught over the fact that I had no idea if my parent was going to be okay or was close to death.
They may also appear as individuals you don’t recognize but feel protected and comforted by. On a number of occasions I’ve dreamt of individuals that I do not recognize, what might be considered complete strangers, but that exude a motherly or nurturing, caring, kind, supportive, and similar energies. Others are what one might interpret as being “stern” or “no nonsense” but give off loving and/or protective energy at the same time. For example, on one occasion, I remember being in the back seat of a car while a black-haired buxom female was in the driver’s seat driving and simultaneously looking back and even reaching her hand toward me on at least one occasion (if I remember correctly) during that dream. Her expression and what I think may have been telepathic communication communicated that she was watching over and taking care of me; in the backseat I was snugly wrapped in blankets, resting my head on the window, and feeling as if all my strength was gone.
Guardian angels’ appearances in dreams are far more diverse from what has been mentioned here and in the available literature. Oftentimes it is tailored to the specific individual in such a way that will most effectively command their attention. Guardian angels are limitless in their pursuit of communication during dreams.
Communicating With Your Guardian Angels In Your Dreams
Another way in which guardian angels communicate is through numbers, and words on license plates.
Recently, I saw three instances of combinations of 2s. In addition to seeing a license plate with 22222 (and at least one different number) on my walk home, I also saw 2:22 on the clock. I remember there was a third instance, but not specifically where I saw the 2s.
The numbers your angels employ may be on receipts. Two grocery trips ago, my total came to 44.28. At the time, I wasn’t sure if some food assistance that I had applied for was going to come through, and this troubled me to some degree even though I kept trying to give my worry to the angelic realm.
They also use clocks to impart numeric messages. 11:11, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55 tend to be the most noticeable, but they also use the minutes. For example, at different times since I started noticing their communication through numbers, I’ve seen :44 for nearly all (if not all) of the hours (e.g. 2:44, 3:44, 4:44, 5:44, 6:44,…). This has happened with other numbers as well (in fact, as I’m writing this I’ve already seen :55 at least twice).
However, the numbers you will see depend on what your angels are trying to tell you, which means you may infrequently or may not see the aforementioned combinations. For example, on occasion I see 12:34 or some other seemingly “random” number sequence, which nonetheless still contains a message. In truth, most any number combination is possible (albeit limited to the available number sequences presented by our time-tracking devices).
The numbers may also be on buildings or on the display of stores they put just off the road so drivers can see which stores or offices are in that particular building or plaza. I’ve occasionally seen numbers on buildings, but typically I see them on the roadside store displays. For example, while in the car I’ve looked up in time to see 222 and 444 on displays.
The angels might also use the miles you or another person has put on your/their car to connect with you, possibly by having you notice the mileage on your car or by having another person remark about the mileage. This has happened to me on at least two occasions. One was when I came back from school to spend Christmas with my family and it was my first time being home after starting on the spiritual path. While stopping at the post office, my mother announced that the mileage was all 4s. The second was when I was at the driver’s side of the car. I don’t remember what I was doing, but I remember I was questioning something major I was working on at that time. The mileage was 7 followed by all zeros.
The angels also communicate using numbers on license plates. Sometimes you will see a repeated single number (e.g. 4444 or 55555 or even 44 or 55) while other times you may see something like 1717 or 1212 (there may or may not be letters with the numbers). Still others will consist entirely of numbers. In my own experience(s) I’ve most noticed when there is 2 or more of a repeating number but it’s the numbers that repeat 3 or more times which remain in my memory the longest.
License plates also display worded messages from the angels. Sometimes it’s one word, sometimes more, sometimes it’s an answer to a question you’ve posed or encouragement when you’re going through a tough time in your life. Other worded messages on license plates may provide direction(s) to further improve your life. For example, during a period of my life when I was really struggling to get through each day, I saw a license plate that said JSTBE, which I interpreted as meaning Just Be. Shortly after I understood what that meant and started following it, things didn’t become perfect but being able to handle them has become somewhat easier.
On several occasions I’ve seen BLSSED when I’ve been feeling like everything is going wrong in my life. I like to think that it’s the angels reminding me to be grateful for what I DO have, and that despite outwards appearances I am indeed blessed. I’ve also seen BEHPPY on several occasions when I’ve been feeling really down and/or frustrated.
I’ve also seen shortened versions of the words “Reiki”, “Qigong”, and “Massage” on license plates, although this occurred within the span of at least one month, not on the same day. I think my angels were trying to either direct me towards learning about one or all three of the aforementioned or utilizing one or all three of the aforementioned to heal myself.
Guardian angels’ communication through numbers as well as through words on license plates certainly is not limited to the above. Depending on the situation and what message(s) they are trying to impart, anything from one to a combination of the above may be utilized or even something that wasn’t mentioned, yet is related. The angels are unlimited.
Angel Communication Through Numbers And Words On License Plates
There are four main clairs: clairvoyance, clairsentience, claircognizance, and clairaudience. Others lesser known and less frequently mentioned in the literature include clairalience.
Clairvoyance or clear seeing essentially means one perceives the spirit world (including the angelic realm) visually. This can occur through visions, seeing colors, sparks or sparkles of light in a variety of different colors, and seeing light move (however brief) across a room or even just in your line of vision for a very short distance and then disappearing, among other ways. I experienced the last at least twice while I was at graduate school.
Occasionally, when I am trying to sleep or wake up in the middle of the night, when I close my eyes I will see emerald green, and on at least one occasion I saw cobalt blue (it may have been at the same time as the green, but I’m not sure). Recently I’ve occasionally seen brief flashes of singular colors while my eyes were open.
This may also occur through seeing orbs in photographs (I hesitate to say it can occur, as I am not 100% sure, with my current knowledge, if seeing orbs is part of clairvoyance and I do not want to misinform anyone who reads this). In my own experience, I had a picture that had an orb disappear after the death of my grandmother (the picture had been taken when she was alive). In addition, I didn’t start seeing orbs in photographs until after I started on the spiritual path.
Claircognizance or clear thinking essentially means one perceives the spirit world (including the angelic realm) through their thoughts. Often one will just know something without having known how they know it. It could be an answer to a question they pose or someone else poses or directions (to find an item or something bigger, like employment).
Clairaudience or clear hearing essentially means one perceives the spirit world (including the angelic realm) through their hearing. This may occur through hearing a voice outside one’s head, within one’s head (always kind and loving), or telepathically (one way). Personally, I’ve often had the third occur when I can’t find something or need to take certain things with me and I’m in hurry to get someplace on time or have to remember to do certain things. On two occasions (that I remember) I’ve heard my name called and no one in the room that I was in had said it.
Clairsentience or clear feeling essentially means one perceives the spirit world (including the angelic realm) through their feelings. This may occur through feeling as though you’ve been touched (e.g. on your arm, hair, head, or shoulder), through your emotions (e.g. after feeling down, you ask the angelic realm for help and you soon feel better), or through your feelings (e.g. you’re scared and you ask Archangel Michael for help, and soon after feel safe and protected).
While I don’t know anything about clairalience other than that it means one perceives the spirit world (including the angelic realm) through smell, I want to share an experience I had while in graduate school, in hopes that it might help others identify their own experiences with this clair. At least one time while at graduate school, while on the bus back to my apartment from the main campus, I smelled flowers (maybe roses?). I thought someone on the bus had flowers, but no one did.
